Babka, or bobka, is a sweet bun that can be compared in structure to a brioche bread or Dutch sugar bread. The babka was originally made in Eastern Europe.
The authentic recipe consists of sugar, yeast, milk, eggs and lots of butter. Then it is filled with cinnamon sugar and braided in a special way.
